Shadowlands FAST Catchup Guide – Best Practices – World of Warcraft

Many players ask how to catch up in Shadowlands since it’s already been a few months in the expansions.  Here is the faster way to catch up in the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Leveling

First of all, leveling in Shadowlands is supposed to be relaxed and fun. Do not rush things up in leveling. Enjoy the cinematics, the views, and the sounds. Do not also level at war mode because its benefits are not as it is before. But if you are leveling alts, Threads of Fate can help you but make sure you are comfortable with this playstyle.

Max Level

When you reach the max level, that‘s when you focus on your priorities in the game. Just concentrate on obtaining Gear, Renown, and Legendaries. Other than that is only considered a weekly quest.

Gear

There two ways to gear up.

  • The PvP Way

Currently, catching up and gearing up through PvP is very accessible and very fast. You can use honor because it is not just a score but also a currency you can use to buy and upgrade PvP gear via a vendor. You can also earn renown while in PvP. But if you are playing rated PvP, you can avoid doing all of that plus obtaining some other rewards.

  • The non PvP Way

If you don’t want to gear up via PvP, you can just buy an idle model depending on your realm’s economy and go to the Auction House and by crafted gears and or BoEs. If you don’t have that much gold, you can just do it the traditional way. You can also just earn Renown and push through the Covenant Campaign. Even finish weekly world bosses, quests, events, and Torghast. Also, do not forget to do the daily Covenant Callings. You can also try running Mythic Os and Raid Finder day 1. And finally, Complete world quests for Conduits until they disappear.

Renown

As you all know, you can only earn a rate of two or three Renown per week that you can earn from two weekly quests. You can find Renown everywhere but only to a certain point, but if you’re close to catching up to others, you should not finish those weekly quests until before the reset.

The Maw

The Maw is an optional experience with rewards that loops into itself. Upgrading also to the Maw, Torghast, and the Gem Sockets are also not worth it. Just put all your time and effort into other things than this.

Torghast

Torghast is definitely worth your time. You should push it through until you complete two layers and eight runs per week.

Soul Ash

At the moment, you can hold up to 8000 soul ash in your inventory, and when the season ends, that ash might turn into gold or Titan Residuum. A total of 5150 soul ash is required to craft a rank four legendary. You should also count how many you want and make a plan.

When it comes to the great vault, just get on the board the first few weeks. You can get picky and fill it out later
