Talents

Single Target:

If you want to focus on Single target talents, here are the talents that you should get:

  • Spirit Wolf
  • Master of the Elements
  • Echo of the Elements
  • Ancestral Guidance
  • Primal Elementalist
  • Stormkeeper
  • Elemental Blast

AoE Talents:

And this are the AoE Talents:

  • Aftershock
  • Spirit Wolf
  • Master of Elements
  • Nature’s Guardian
  • Echo of the Elements
  • Primal Elementalist
  • Stormkeeper

For levels 30 and 40 talents are mostly utility talents you can always change it depending on what you need. Side note, Static Charge will be a go-to talent if you want to play dungeons, and Nature Guardian is great passive defense.

Stats

For the stats it will of course depend on the legendary that you have, if you’re using the Windspeaker’s Lava Resurgence that comes from the Bastion World boss, your stat priority is Intellect, Haste, Vers, Crit and then Mastery. This legendary is good for single target or funneling. If you’re using the Echoes of Great Sundering your stats priority changes to Intellect, Crit, Verse, Haste, then Mastery. This Legendary is good for raid bosses and mythic dungeons.

Covenants

For the covenant you might want to take Necrolord. Even on a single target, applying the buff, Primordial Wave, will give you a free lava burst for multiple targets. You can also go for Venthyr if you’re more casual.

Conduits

For potency conduits, you can go Call of Flame, since it is the strongest potency conduit currently due to the relative strength of our Elementals and the Primal Elementalist talent.

Rotation

For the rotation you should maintain Flame Shock on up to 3 targets, then use all of your Lava Burst charges and try to cast spells in between of the Lava Burst. From there, use your Earth Shock to dump maelstrom, and spam Lightning Bolt. If you’re using the Windspeaker’s Lava Resurgence legendary, keep in mind that the Earth Shock will give you one instant cast of Lava Burst, so make sure to use all the stack for your Lava Burst to maximize your skill and damage. If you’re using the Echoes of Great Sundering legendary keep in mind that after you use Earth Shock your Earthquake will deal 175% additional damage. For AoE, if you have less than 5 targets and they still have a lot of health, you use Flame Shock then Chain Lightning, then use Lava Burst and some Earthquake. If you have more than 5 targets, you have to spam Lightning then Earthquake.
