Easiest 2v2 Comps To Play in Shadowlands 9.0 TIER LIST

Here are some composition ideas on what you and your friends should play in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. We are ranking it in three categories easy, moderate, and hard, so that by the end, you will know which composition soothes you well.

Easy Composition

These compositions are identified as easy because the tiers only require a lot less setup coordination or tactics to perform well.

  1. Windwalker and Holy Paladin

This composition Is considered strong because the Windwalker brings a lot of defensive cooldowns like the Paladin. Even though the Windwalker’s major weakness is that they lack a consistent stun with leg sweep being on a long cooldown, the Holy Paladin covers that with a stun from the hammer of justice. In these compositions, you are not required to crowd control or do any advanced setups. As long as you stay alive, rotate the cooldowns, and pump out the damage, there is a high chance you can win matchups.

  1. Arms Warriors with Restoration Druid or Shaman

This composition is considered the strongest comps for Shaman and Druid because both variants adopt the same playstyle that you’re looking to maximize damage outlast opponents with high consistent pressure. The Healer is self-sufficient and can keep yourself alive, which the Arms Warrior is looking for as a composition.

  1. Fury Warrior and Holy Paladin

The lack of a mortal strike event providing any healing reduction is the Fury Warrior’s biggest downfall. Furys also survives by having increased healing from bloodthirst and enraged regeneration. Also, in 2v2, damage reduction is a lot stronger than self-healing because of the dampening mechanic. As a result, fury needs to win games fast.

  1. Mist Weavers and Arms Warrior or Unholy Death Knight

This means that Mist Weavers look for a melee partner who can maximize pressure solo and doesn’t need that much assistance. Keeping them alive will be able to create solo pressure.

  1. Destruction Warlocks and Restoration Druid

Being Destruction Warlocks as one of the durable casters, they need the Restoration Druid because this brings a lot in terms of offense and some stunts to secure chaos broadcasts. The durability of this comp makes it easy to play when compared to others. You need to maximize damage, survive, and you’re good to go.

  1. Demon Hunters and Restoration Druid or Shaman

Restoration druid offers more damage output and stunts, while the Restoration Shaman is more utility base but provides a lot defensively. Both comps have the same playstyle maximizing damage and mana rifts to score a kill.

  1. Enhancement Shaman and Holy Paladin

They are the right partners because the Enhancement Shaman struggles with a reliable stun and survivability. The Holy Paladin is the best healer to assist with damage.

  1. Frost Death Knights and Holy Paladin

The Holy Paladin is the best healer to assist you with stun and damage during your burst windows.

Moderate Compositions

These comps need more work to play at a higher level. You need to secure crowd control and play burst windows or require more coordination between you and your healer to make the composition work.

  1. Unholy Death Knight and Restoration Shaman

This comp requires getting an initial pressure during your burst windows, then chaining interrupts with the Shaman to secure a kill, then kiting and avoiding damage during downtime. Correctly playing this comp can make this the most potent at killing healers.

  1. Balance Druid and Holy Paladins

Paladins are the best comp for Druid because Paladins can bring added crowd control. As you have a cyclone, you need something on the polymorph diminishing return, and Paladins brings that with repentance. Combining both their tiers can secure kills. During downtime, you can control the game’s pace with low cyclones and build up astral power to be ready with your next setup.

  1. Shadow Priest and Restoration Druid or Holy Paladin or Restoration Shaman

This Composition allows the druid to play more aggressively, going for restyles and adding damage and stunts with a rake or maim as you need the extra assistance to secure kills. This new composition makes them stronger than they were previously.

  1. Retribution Paladin and Disciplined Priest

Retribution Paladins have many bursts during small windows. The Disciplined Priest assists you during those small windows. This composition also requires a certain amount of coordination with your healer to make it work.

  1. Assassination Rogue and Disciplined Priest

This composition pumps out some of the greatest damage in the game as well as having control. Its difficulty is based on its tactics knowing where to multi-dot or crowd control to win.

  1. Pharaoh Druid and Disciplined Priest or

This comp combines damage inside of a stun. Pharaoh brings some utility to gloss over the disciplined priest’s weakness with an added healing and the peels from the cyclone. Know when to kite is one of the few difficulties of this composition.

  1. Affliction Restoration Druid and Affliction Warlocks

This comp revolves for the most part around rotting your enemies, getting strong pressure overwhelming damage. The Druid is the best healer for this due to the added stuns and extra damage.

  1. Hunters and Disciplined Priest or Restoration Druid

In this comp, we need crowd control. The difficulty in this comp is securing your crowd control and coordinating with your healer.

  1. Elemental Shaman and Holy Paladin or Restoration Druid

Holy Paladin brings added crowd control while Druids are more offensive. Both comps require some level of coordination.

Hard Compositions

These compositions are more challenging and require large setups as well as coordination to win. This is also not advisable for new players to pick up and play, especially at the higher ratings.

  1. Demonology and Restoration Druid or Holy Paladin

Demonology is one of the hardest specs to play correctly when it comes to PVP. It has low damage, and it needs many setups to deal with any relevant damage with your tyrant. Pairing it with a Druid or a Paladin can give you additional damage and stunts or strong defensive cooldowns, respectively, to help you get the tyrants out.

  1. Mage and Disciplined Priest or Restoration Druid or Holy Paladin

You must have to be on point with your crowd control, deal with relevant damage, and finally, you have to have clean setups and consistently combine with your healer to extend your crowd cod control chains if you’re playing this composition.

  1. Sub or Outlaw Rogue and Holy or Disciplined Priest

Sub Rogue and Holy Priest is the strongest combination by far, and the Outlaw is the best partner for the Disciplined Priest. Any spec of rogue is best when paired with a priest.

    • Its best to have a healer in your pvp comp’s yes. Most other groups will be running with a healer so your damage (If 2 dps) wont be able to compete with the healing output and shields and such unless you can some how sandwich the healer immediately 🙂
