What’s Next And When – Speculating Shadowlands’ First Patch

Now that we are in the new year of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, there are already speculations of Shadowlands’ upcoming first patch. Here are some of what is currently happening to Shadowlands, together with some assumptions on what is about to happen in the future.

Currently happening

Currently, the second of the four raid finder wings in Castle Nathria have opened. By now, the Twisting Corridors of Torghast have opened to help set the original Shadowlands storyline’s conclusion. You have probably also have reached the second to the last chapter of the Covenants campaign.

Here are also some of the milestones for these upcoming weeks:

WoW Shadowlands Expansions Trends

  • Season 1 BFA – September 4, 2018 – January 22, 2019
  • Patch 8.1 launch – December 11, 2018 (6-week wait)
  • Season 4 BFA – January 21, 2020 – October 13, 2020
  • Patch 8.3 launch – January 14, 2020 (1-week wait)

Estimations

Season 1: 18 weeks

Season 2 start: April 13

Patch 9.1 launch: April 6

Shadowlands 9.1 Predictions

Here are some of the things you might get in the upcoming Shadowlands Patch 9.1. First is a new season affix for mythic plus. You might also get a new raid and some new raised caps and so much more. Also, in this upcoming patch, there will not have any new significant systems. It’s just more of what you have. 

  • Renown 

There might have new renown ranks that focus on the player’s power than cosmetics.

  • Soul Bind 

You can expect more soul bind rows that will have more traits and conduit slots. There might also have an additional soul bind.

  • Sanctum Feature

There might be growth in the covenant’s sanctum features, and the mission table might have more challenging missions and new rewards. There might also be an expansion of the animal conductor. 

  • Flight

Flight might also be part of the new feature since they messed it up on BFA.

  • Legendaries

The Legendaries might become more powerful this upcoming patch. The equip limit might go up, new possible items, and finally, interaction with the upcoming set bonuses.

Improvements

  • Maw Improvements

The Maw needs more quests and context to give meaning.

  • Torghast improvements

Torghast has to be more challenging for the players. Add additional modes or levels. The rewards are also too limited for the player s to enjoy.
