One of the most frustrating things in a mythic plus dungeon is having to mark multiple enemies because there’s multiple things that need to be interrupted. And by the time I start marking them, people have already started interrupting a bunch on the same target over and over and overlapping them resulting in other things not being able to be interrupted. I came across a weakaura recently, a convenient and modular little tool which is worth sharing, the Mythic+Auto Marker.
00:44 Target markers are an extremely powerful tool that you can use in your mythic plus dungeons to help remind you of important things. Like one needs to die first or to help people remember to interrupt one of the billions of lethal moves it seems that every ad has in Shadowlands. I think in most dungeons there are less enemies without interrupts than with them these days. And of course every single person in your group is going to blow their interrupting load on the first rebellious Spires of Ascension even though you literally just said you were going to get it in Discord. Fits of rage aside, if this hasn’t happened to you before then consider yourself very fortunate. Regardless, it can be a bit tiresome having to manually mark every single caster enemy in the dungeon just to let people know what’s going on. And in a lot of polls, there are multiple enemies that have important interruptible abilities.
02:02 Not all moves are quite as lethal as another but it can save you a lot of unnecessary damage and time if your group can quickly discern what things need to be taken care of. That’s where Mythic+ Auto Marker comes in. This potent weakaura has a number of ways it can help solve your target marking dilemma.

Mythic+ Auto Marker will automatically mark anything you’re currently in combat with that has an important interruptible cast. Or you can mark things ahead of time by mousing over the nameplates of a target that has been listed in the weakaura as a priority. This means you will need to have your nameplates enabled for it to work so keep that in mind.
The developer has also made a modifiable list of every enemy in every dungeon currently in Shadowlands. Meaning you can customize this add-on to only mark enemies you feel are important to deal with. If you want to do that then you’ll have to open the weakaura UI menu and go to the custom options tab on Mythic+ Auto Marker. You’ll go to a part where you’ll see each dungeon has its own drop down menu with each individual enemy. You’ll also find an option for setting a modifier key to your mouse over marking. So if you only want to use the mouse over feature some of the time then you can make it so you have to hold shift, control or alt while mousing over appropriate enemies to do it. By default you won’t need to hold key modifier for anything for it to work but you might find it easier in some cases to change that.

It does take a bit of getting used to this weakaura. So I recommend trying it out on some lower keys or even in a random heroic or mythic zero. Depending on your gear, performance level and if you’re a tank healer or DPS because I’ve heard there are still some DPS that are in queue for mythic plus dungeons since the beginning of Shadowlands. I personally am fond of quite anything that can help target marking a little easier for my group. So having a weakaura that can be customized to mark exactly what I wanted to do is pretty great. Even without changing any of the settings though since it’s already pre-programmed to handle a ton of targets on its own. You can just go in there and try it out without messing without anything at all which is really nice.

I strongly recommend giving this weakaura a shot if you haven’t seen it before as it is really useful. The fact that it’s modular enough that you change it for individual enemies and individual dungeons is really cool. The fact that it automatically marks things you’re in combat with or if you just mouse over them is really handy. Saves you a lot of time, effort and stress depending on the situation. Hopefully this makes your mythic plus runs a little bit easier.
