TOP 10 9.0.5 MOST BROKEN PvP CLASSES & SPECS? – World of Warcraft Shadowlands

With the recent patch of 9.0.5 World of Warcraft Shadowlands, there were a lot of changes especially with classes and specs. Some are nerfed and some are buffed, it might be good or bad news from some players, so in this guide we made a list of broken classes and specs for PvP.

10. Necrolord Affliction Warlock

First on our list is Necrolord Affliction Warlock, they got their Demon Armor buff. This is a good news for players running this spec, since they are being tunneled by Warriors and Wind Walkers. Also the buffed combination of Malefic Wrath legendary and Necrolord ability, Decimating Bolt. This will result in a gigantic drain soul that will definitely kill a target in one cast. However the difficulty to pull this off requires a lot of setup, that’s why it’s 10th on our list.

9. Arcane Mage

Next on the list is the Arcane Mage, its legendary Arcane Harmony, has been buffed with the recent patch. It now can do Arcane barrage full loaded up for 25k damage if its critical hit. With instant cast and having some instant burst as well, Arcane Mages can deal up to 40k to 50k damage in a 3 second window.

8. Enhancement Shaman

On the 8th spot we have the Enhancement Shaman, with the buffed Lava Lash and fire build which is a combination of increased 40% damage on Lava Lash, the legendary, Primal Lava Actuators, the Magma Fist conduit, and the Hot Hand talent. Also if you were to stack mastery then you can use the Fae Transfusion paired with the Earthen Spike is a good combination, but this also means that you will lose Chain Harvest.

7. Demon Hunter

At number 7 is the Demon Hunter spec, even being squishy, their Unbound Chaos was buffed significantly, additional to that, their Darkglare Medallion legendary was buffed as well. Partnered with some tanks, Demon Hunter can really dish out insane amounts of DPS.

6. Fire Mage

Next on the list is the Fire Mage, with the recent buff of their legendary Disciplinary Command that allows you increase your critical strike of all of your spells by 20% if you cast a Frost, Fire and Arcane spell within 10 seconds of each other. Also their Sun King’s Blessing would allow them to have a smaller combustion in between the real combustion. The Triune Ward that can increase Fire Mage’s survivability.

5. Frost Mage

Going to number on the list is the Frost Mage, with their Freezing Winds legendary buffed again, that can grant  Fingers of Frost every 2 seconds, thus strengthening the burst potential of this spec. With more defensive toolkit compared to other mages they really can do more damage to other mage specs.

4. Retribution Paladin

The Ret Paladin will take the number 4 spot, Final Verdict has been buffed quite a bit and now can deal a more single target damage, especially when it is paired with the Final Reckoning talent. If you go for big cooldown stacking you can possibly do critical hits of up to 30k damage with one hit. This legendary will also increase their sustained DPS, however Ret Paladins seems to be a priority target, but since they have the Reign of Endless Kings legendary they increase their survivability in arenas.

3. Venthyr Hunter

On the 3rd spot is the Venthyr Hunter.  Their Covenant ability Flayed Shot received a buff which is going to allow hunters to hit you with a random kill shot box which can hit up to 20k damage. Their burst spike will be pretty high as well, especially if set up properly during cc chains. The one spec would be the Venthyr Survival Hunters with Mastery: Spirit Bond that can give them stronger kill shots compared to other hunter specs. The second spec would be Beast Mastery Hunters with their PvP trinket bonus to versatility that increases their damage and healing benefit by 40%.

2. Warriors

Taking the number 2 spot is the Warriors, and even though they didn’t receive any nerfs, this class is still powerful. The Exploiter PvP chain  that was announced is only reverted into its pre 9.0.5 state which is still powerful. Additionally they received a buff to their legendary Enduring Blow that can add more damage without any downside trade-off to it.

1. Venthyr Rogue

1. Venthyr Rogue

Taking the top spot is the Venthyr Rogue, it can be the Subtlety Rogue or Assassination Rogue. The covenant ability Flagellation has been redesigned alongside with the Maldraxxus one, the Serrated Bone Spike. This ability really works well in PvP, as it provides a lot of burst without any RNG tied to it. Together with the conduit, Lashings Scars, that adds 4 additional times and deals 50% increased damage to Flagellation lashes.
