How to Swap & Rejoin Covenants in Shadowlands

In the recent launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, many players are curious about how they can swap and rejoin covenants. Here is a quick guide for you.

Swapping from one covenant to another covenant

Where to change your Covenant

Swapping from one covenant to another is the easiest. Only if you haven’t joined that covenant before. You have to go to The Enclave area of Oribos and talk with the representative NPC of the covenant you wish to join.

Rejoining Covenants

This part is quite complicated. Because to be able to rejoin a covenant, you will need to finish two weekly quests called “prove your worth.” This first quest will require you to do different activities, such as world quests, killing rares, collecting treasures, and doing dungeons in the covenant zone you intend to rejoin. The total effort required is not too long and should not take longer than a pair of hours, at worst, especially if you blast through dungeons, as each boss kill is worth about 12% of the bar.

When you return after the weekly reset, you will be offered the Rebuild Our Trust mission, which requires you to do precisely the same thing as Prove your Worth did. Finishing this quest finishes your covenant swap and unlocks your covenant hub, soulbinds, renown, and quest lines where you left them before.

Transmog and Mounts

When you swap to a different covenant, the transmog and mounts you have collected in your previous covenant will be safe in your collection will be safe, but you will not be able to use it.
