Are you experiencing a hard time surviving The Maw? Here are some tips on how to survive and get past through The Maw quickly.
The Eye of the Jailer
This is a GTA star system located at the top of the screen that limits the time you can spend in The Maw. Killing things can increase the star/tier you will get. But be careful because the higher that you get, the more difficult it would be to survive.
Mounts in The Maw
Believe it or not, you can get mounts in The Maw. To do so, you have to look for mobs called swan outsiders. You have to kill them, and after that, they will drop mounts that you can ride for one minute.
Types of mobs
- Standard Solo Rares
These mobs have two hundred thousand health or below. Killing them can give you 80 rep.
- Tougher Rares
These mobs usually have half-million health or more, and they require a few people to kill. They can give you a 50% of level and 100 rep.
- Bonus Objective Mobs
These are mobs that only gives you 40 rep, and they don’t show on handy notes.
Being in a group
This can speed up the experience, plus it’s more fun. However, not everyone has a group, if you can grab the opportunity because it can make your playing more enjoyable.
Wrath of the Jailer Event
This is a chance of giving you a mythic level item, 250 rep, and an entire threat level. Even though this event shows up in your minimap or main map often, you can only do this event once per week.
Goblin Glider Kits
Getting this item can make your life much more comfortable in The Maw. It can help you travel.
