Here’s what’s cracking in WOW this week!
0:23 PATCH NOTES and HOTFIXES
We have a PVP fix that fixed an issue which caused Epic Battlegrounds to reward less experience than intended for characters between 50 and 60.
For Quests, slightly reduced the difficulty of the Paragon’s Challenge for the Bastion World Quest “Flight School: Flapping Frenzy”.
1:08 VE’NARI REPUTATION
Ve’nari Reputation is now account wide! Players are now able to buy socket and conduit upgrades with Stygia on alts that have not reached the required reputation with the Ve’nari.
1:48 DAISY THE SLOTH and BANANAS
Daisy the Sloth, the one million dollar goal pet for the Doctors Without Borders charity is getting close. Last I checked, the total was over 760,000 dollars. So we’ve got until the end of April so things are looking up.
Bananas, the 500,000 dollar goal, has already been unlocked. Navigate to the shop on the Blizzard shop and unlock it if you don’t have it yet.
2:39 HOLIDAYS and EVENTS
Noblegarden ends today. Hope you filled your egg basket and grabbed lots of prizes!
Burning Crusade Timewalking is ending soon. So make sure you finish any quests or dungeons you need related to this. As a reminder, timewalking vendors do stay up for one extra day (reset day). You can still buy things from them if you need to.
Darkmoon Faire ended last Saturday and will return May 2nd. Keep an eye out for that if you want it.
After reset, the new weekly event is Arena Skirmishes. These will give you more honor. And the nice thing about these Skirmishes is there are 2v2s and 3v3s so you don’t have to make a group for that. All those solo PVP players out there can take advantage of this.
We’ve got a new PVP brawl, Packed House. Apparently that’s a 15v15 sized team all stuffed into arenas. Seems like a madhouse, have you ever done this before?
In the following month, on May 3rd, the next major holiday is Children’s Week. This one, as I’ve heard, is problematic for folks trying to get the PVP part of the achievement.
5:26 WORLD BOSSES
World bosses tend to have normal raid tier appearances. Last day of Soultakers in Legion, they have an artifact appearance for Frost DKs. BFA world boss is Ji’arak. Oranomoros in Shadowlands drops Druid Hunter and Mage legendaries.
After reset, world bosses would be Humongris in Legion, Hailstone Construct in BFA and Nurgash Muckformed in Shadowlands. Nurgash drops Death Knight and Demon Hunter legendaries.
6:40 RANDOM FACT
A fact that I find interesting and may be helpful for you in some way is you can now quest in Legion zones without needing to open your class hall or unlock your artifact. This was one of those sneaky changes that slipped in during 9.0 which I really appreciate. Before you still needed to get at least one artifact in order to quest in Legion. Now, you don’t have to as you can go straight to each zone and pick up the quests marked on each zone’s map.
