So for this guide we will be farming the Volatile Air farm since the price of this material went up over the last months and now is going on average for over 22 gold a piece, and that is twice more than the price before Shadowlands. The farm will take place in Mount Hyjal, if you want to get there as quickly as possible, you can use the portal to Hyjal that you can find in Stormwind and in Orgrimmar. Once you use it you will be instantly teleported to the farming location.
This farm is a group farm, so you can always bring your friends, or just search or create a group. Before farming this place, you also need to have a Potion of Treasure Finding. This potion can provide an extra treasure chest as you kill mobs, treasures may contain different volatiles that can help you get more gold. You can earn up to 2,000 gold with just the materials that you get in the extra treasure chest.
Also once you teleport to the farming location you will see a bunch of Scalding Rock Elemental. What you need to do is just kill these Scalding Rock Elemental mobs that you encounter on this place. As you kill and move to the next mobs, you will notice that they are hyper spawning. You also don’t need to be level 60, also additional tips, use the Druid spec, since this spec has mobility and skills that can deal with mobs easily.
You will be able to farm Volatile Earth, Amber Steel Cloths, Elementium Ores, Pyrite Ore, Volatile Waters, Volatile Air, Volatile Fires, Volatile Life and other materials as well. If you sell all this item, of course depending on the quantity you got on the farm, you can get up to 43,000 gold, and if you add the 2,000 gold you got from the extra treasures, you will be able to farm up to 45,000 gold more or less.
